OUR HISTORY // A BRIEF TIMELINE
- 1980 • Birth of our founder, Aaron Stanley.
- 1984 • Aaron discovers art. Encouraged by his mother, his love for art grows & his talent begins to blossom.
- 1990 • Aaron looks to local artist Joe Williams for guidance, technical instruction and inspiration.
- 1999 • Joe Williams passes suddenly. Aaron vows to become a success and make him proud.
- 1999 • Aaron & friend, Michael Hall, develop the concept and premature brand, "Dark Rizing"
- 1999 •Ooriginally billed as an urbanclothing line, Dark Rizing never panned out.
- 2003 • Friend, Donnie Williams, introduces Aaron to Adobe Photoshop ©. Love @ first sight!
- 2004 • Step-father, James Jones introduces Aaron to Anthony Waldren, a successful graphic design artist.
- Anthony takes Aaron under his wing to show him the ropes.
- The foundation for Dark Rising Grafx gets poured, solidified and built upon.
- 2005-2008 • Aaron works diligently, honing his skills as a graphic design artist.
- Opening an office is the driving goal in mind.
- Building clientele was a key component throughout these years.
- 2009 • Dark Rising Grafx LLC is formed and our first office is brought to life in Baltimore Maryland.
